How to file a copyright notice

- Proof of ownership - anything that shows your rights, such as a publishing record, label page or official release link.
- Your contact details - full name, organisation if any, email address and phone number.
- Good-faith statement - a line stating you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law.
- Authority statement and signature - a line stating you are authorised to act for the rights owner, with your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
- We review every notice, usually within 2-3 working days.
- Valid requests lead to quick removal or correction of the disputed lyrics.
- We may contact you if the notice is incomplete and we need more details.
- False or abusive notices may be ignored.
Counter-notification
If your content was removed by mistake and you believe you have the right to share it, reply to our email with your identification, the page URL, proof of your rights, and a statement accepting responsibility for your claim. We will review it and may restore the content.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or sources that repeatedly post infringing material will be restricted or removed from the site.
